Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you might have heard that Barack Obama is being inaugurated as America’s president on Tuesday. If you want to celebrate with folks in your community, you’re in luck.
City Hall
280 Grove St.
11 am
There will be a public viewing of the inauguration at City Hall.
The Gateway Restaurant
543-547 Martin Luther King Dr.
11 am-4 pm
The Gateway will be showing the inauguration on a big screen for the community. The doors open at 11am to 4pm. The bar will be open for cocktails and finger foods will be served.
The Ringside Lounge
475 Tonnele Ave.
3-6 pm
The Obama Inaugural Luncheon will feature free food.
LITM
140 Newark Ave.
5 pm-midnight
All American drinks on special all night. Chef Todd Villani will be making some special dishes and the live performances will be on the bar’s big screen. Plus, they’ll have a life-size cardboard Obama that you can take your picture with.
Hard Grove Cafe
319 Grove St.
5 pm – ??
Hard Grove will have televised inauguration events and Obama Mojitos.
The Embankment

Happy hour prices all night.
