<description>While doing research on the lesser known signers of the Declaration of Independence, other than the short internet blurbs readily available which mirror each other, little information on George Wythe was available. I searched for authors that had written on the subject of George Wythe. I came across your book and promptly went to Borders Books to purchase the last, or only copy of &quot;I Am Murdered&quot;. All I can say to you sir, is WOW!

What a well researched manuscript yours is. I was absolutely engrossed in the way you presented your information and how well you laid the case against young Sweeney. In my essay, on George wythe, I found your book an invaluable reference, not only to the facts of his life, but of Colonial America; a subject I am quite interested in, and have spent many years researching. My essay conclusion ends with &quot; The very laws that George wythe wrote, or failed to write, were the same laws that allowed his murderer to escape justice&quot;.

I have spent a lot of time researching land deeds in Maryland for other purposes and have found your book an excellent reference to the life and times of early America, especially as it related to issues of slavery and the rights of black people in those days.

As a student of our founding fathers, I gained new insights into those like Jefferson, Marshall, and Clay, whose impact on America was quite significant. It helped me to make sense out of our founding documents as to how and why they were written the way they were. Now, when I study Jefferson, I see George Wythe in nearly every facet of his life.

I am surprised you did not take up criminal investigation as your profession. You laid the case against Sweeney out in such a air tight manner, that had the laws not been what they were, you could have quite easily convicted that young man.

What a great book and a wonderful read &quot;I Am Murdered&quot; was for me. I look forward to reading your other books.

Thank-you
