Steven Fulop Spearheads Another City Hall Rally

By • Sep 8th, 2009 • Category: Blog, News, Politics

This Wednesday, the City Council will resume meeting and take up the redevelopment pay-to-play ordinance that was introduced in August. Ward E councilman Steven Fulop, who introduced the legislation, is calling on the community to come out to City Hall prior to the meeting to show support for the reform. The One Jersey City team, led by former mayoral candidate Dan Levin, is also calling on the public to come to the council meeting and voice their opinions.

The rally is scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm, and the council meeting is slated for 6 pm. Which, on City Council time, likely means about 6:30 pm.

So is OJC encouraging people to attend the rally or just the meeting? Steve and Dan have to decide who’s leading and who’s following or the HCDO will continue to hold power.
