No big surprise here, but the numbers that are in so far clearly show all six Democratic party candidates winning election to the state Assembly tonight.
In the 31st District, with 98.2 percent of precincts reporting, Anthony Chiappone (the incumbent) and Charles Mainor (running in place of incumbent L. Harvey Smith) have won with 35.8 and 36.3 percent of the vote, respectively.
In the 32nd, with 100 percent in, incumbents Joan Quigley and Vincent Prieto rolled with 47.7 and 48.4 percent of the vote.
And in the 33rd, incumbents (hey, sense a pattern here?) Ruben Ramos Jr. and Caridad Rodriguez took home wins with 37.5 and 36 percent of the vote (96.4 percent of precincts reporting).
With that out of the way, now we just hold tight for the gubernatorial and ballot question results.
