The Jersey City Independent and NEW magazine have an immediate opening for a part-time advertising sales representative. We seek someone who is outgoing, independent and organized to join our growing publishing company. The ideal candidate would have advertising sales experience, knowledge of and passion about Jersey City, and be interested in working in a start-up environment.
The Independent is Jersey City’s alternative newspaper on the web, covering news, politics, arts and culture. NEW magazine is a high-quality arts, culture and lifestyle magazine about Jersey City that is published twice a year.
Pay is commission-based. The representative will, for the time being, handle all accounts.
