Planning Board Postpones Vote on JSQ Core Redevelopment Plan

By Jon Whiten • Feb 10th, 2010 • Category: Blog, News, Politics

At its meeting last night, the Jersey City Planning Board did not act on the Journal Square Core Redevelopment Plan as originally planned, opting to carry the proposal to the board’s March 16 meeting. The move was made to allow time to meet with the community and to perhaps revisit the plan to see if any additional changes are needed.

The board plans on meeting with the community at least once, if not a few times, over the next two or three weeks, but potential dates and times have not yet been set. We will let you know when and where any such meeting is happening as soon as we know. You can always call the Division of City Planning to find out as well (201-547-5010).
