Snowpocalypse Watch: City Council Meeting Now Canceled

By • Feb 10th, 2010 • Category: Blog, News, Politics

Holy change of plans, Batman!

Just a few hours ago, when we called the city clerk’s office to check on tonight’s City Council meeting, we were told it was “definitely” happening. But that is apparently no longer the case.

All council business, with the exception of time-sensitive measures, will be transferred to the next regularly scheduled meeting on February 24. Expect that one to be a humdinger, folks: this meeting’s jam-packed agenda on top of the next meeting’s budget hearing could create a marathon meeting of epic proportions.

Time-sensitive items will be handled at a special meeting to be convened next week, at a time and date not yet set.
