_gaia Studio is looking for local short films by or about women for April’s Lunafest Jersey City 2010 film festival.

Lunafest is a traveling festival of short films by, for, and about women. _gaia needs films from Hudson County residents that are under 10 minutes long, and center around issues concerning the lives of women or feature principal women characters.

All submissions have to be postmarked by Friday, March 19. Anything received after that deadline will be considered for next year, and no submissions will be returned. Send your stuff to: Lillian Ribeiro, Director of Performance & Film, _gaia Studio, 315 3rd St., Jersey City, NJ 07032, and mark the envelope “LF.”

Lunafest Jersey City 2010 will be held at LITM on April 11.
