The upstart mixed martial arts (MMA) fight producer Urban Conflict Championship (UCC) has announced it will be staging MMA fights at the Jersey City Armory starting next week.
The first bout, “UCC 1: MERCILESS,” is slated for March 19, and will feature at least nine bouts, including a fight between Ryan Contaldi and Lamont Lister as the main event. Tickets range from $35 to $85, and the promoters expect a crowd of 2,500.
The UCC has also scheduled the second of six anticipated fights for May 14 at the Armory, a building with an already rich boxing history.
