Hudson Pride Connections Center Celebrates 16 Years with 2010 Gala

The 4th annual Hudson Pride Connections Center (HPC) Gala, slated for May 1, will honor four individuals: State Sen. Sandra Cunningham, Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise, HPC volunteer Iyannah Fields and Marvin Kreiger, the director of Hudson County HIV/AIDS Services Planning Council.
The gala event, which will feature dancing, drinks, food and a silent auction, will celebrate HPC’s 16 years of service to Hudson County’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities and those living with HIV, and raise crucial funds to keep those services going.
The gala is May 1, from 7 to 11 pm, at Michael Anthony’s at the Newport Marina (502 Washington Blvd.). Tickets (available online) are $60 per person, or $110 per couple. The early bird rate of $55 per person is good only until the end of today, so if you’re thinking about going, buy today and save five bucks.
