2010 Groove on Grove Schedule Taking Shape

By Jon Whiten • May 3rd, 2010 • Category: Arts, Blog

The free outdoor music series known as Groove on Grove is coming back for its third year this summer; things kick off this week with a special Cinco de Mayo Fiesta featuring music from los Chispatores, the North Brunswick Winter Percussion Group, Rainbow Fresh and DJ Lucha, as well as food and drink from some local spots. (As you might be able to tell from the small flier at right, JCI is proud to be a sponsor of the series this year.)

The full schedule for the series, which runs this year until Sept. 10, is still being nailed down by booker (Dancing) Tony Susco, but the lineups for the next two months are pretty much in place. We’ll keep you posted with any changes, and you can always find live music listings for the festival or any of Jersey City’s other venues on our Cultural Calendar.
