Furlough Day Will Close Many City Offices Monday

Another furlough day is scheduled for Monday, May 17, affecting most city offices and workers. The Recreation and Law Departments will remain open, as will the municipal courts and — as always — the police and fire departments.

Here’s the schedule for the remaining furlough days, which will run through June.

The following city offices will be closed on these days:

Monday, May 17, 2010: Administration; City Clerk; Health & Human Services; Housing, Economic Development & Commerce; Mayor’s Office; Public Works; Tax Assessor

Friday, May 21, 2010: Law Department; Municipal Courts

Friday, May 28, 2010: Administration; City Clerk; Health & Human Services; Housing, Economic Development & Commerce; Mayor’s Office; Public Works; Tax Assessor; Law Department; Municipal Courts; Recreation Department

Monday, June 7, 2010: Recreation Department

Friday, June 11, 2010: Administration; City Clerk; Health & Human Services; Housing, Economic Development & Commerce; Mayor’s Office; Public Works; Tax Assessor; Law Department; Municipal Courts
