Free Dessert for Vets and Soldiers This Week at Made with Love

The Jersey Avenue bakery and cafe Made with Love is offering free dessert to veterans and soldiers all week long, in celebration of the coming Memorial Day holiday. Owner Celeste Governanti says that although she might not always agree with the wars the country wages, she “wants to remember and give thanks to these brave people.”
“It is just a small thank you to all our local folks that have served or are serving,” she says. “I wanted to do something for them around Memorial Day.”
Made with Love, 530 Jersey Ave. Hours: M, W, TH & F: 9 am to 7:30 pm. SAT & SUN: 9 am to 6 pm. TUES: Closed.
