Most City Offices Closed for Furlough on Friday, Holiday on Monday

Almost all city offices will be closed tomorrow, May 28 for a furlough day and Monday, May 31 for the Memorial Day holiday. As usual, the furlough day will not impact the police and fire departments. On the Monday holiday, garbage pickup will continue but street sweeping will be suspended.
Here’s the schedule for the remaining furlough days, which will run through the middle of next month.
The following city offices will be closed on these days:
Friday, May 28, 2010: Administration; City Clerk; Health & Human Services; Housing, Economic Development & Commerce; Mayor’s Office; Public Works; Tax Assessor; Law Department; Municipal Courts; Recreation Department
Monday, June 7, 2010: Recreation Department
Friday, June 11, 2010: Administration; City Clerk; Health & Human Services; Housing, Economic Development & Commerce; Mayor’s Office; Public Works; Tax Assessor; Law Department; Municipal Courts
