NJCU’s Urban Image Media Collective Showcasing Film & Video in Hoboken Tonight

The annual showcase of short films and video works by New Jersey City University (NJCU) students and alumni who are affiliated with the Urban Image Media Collective is set for tonight at 8:30 pm in Hoboken.
The showcase, “Mixed Bag,” was originally intended to premiere at the Jersey City Museum, but that institution’s ongoing woes forced the collective to take it to the Hoboken Historical Museum, where it will screen in the open air of the museum’s walkway.
The selections, curated by NJCU professor Jane Steuerwald, feature a wide range of styles — satire, personal narrative, documentary, animation and experimental mixed media are all represented.
THE DETAILS
“Mixed Bag” Screening; Hoboken Historical Museum walkway; Friday, June 4 at 8:30 pm; 1301 Hudson St.; $2 donation, museum members receive free admission
