Reservoir Alliance to Host Landscape Painting Classes
By Shane Smith • Jun 17th, 2010 • Category: Arts, BlogArtists take note: the Jersey City Reservoir Preservation Alliance will be hosting two landscape painting sessions this Saturday and next from 10 am to 12:30 pm. Organizers say those who attend the first session will have priority for the second session. No painting experience is necessary.
The class will be taught by local artist Marge Colavito, proprietor of the Upstairs Art Gallery on Bergen Avenue. Colavito also provides framing services and art classes at the gallery.
Space is limited to the first 15 people to RSVP; email cindyhadj (at) yahoo (dot) com or call Laura Skolar at 201-259-1800. You should bring your own easel and palette, a chair and a pencil, but all other supplies will be provided.
