By • Jun 28th, 2010 • Category: Blog

This year marks the 350th anniversary of the founding of the village of Bergen, in what later became Jersey City. To commemorate the miletone, Hudson County History Advocates are putting together a history fair on Saturday, Oct. 6, in Jersey City.

“Come Home to History: Celebrating 350 Years of Hudson County Heritage” will showcase many organizations throughout the County dedicated to keeping local history alive, and the organizers are currently looking for participants and exhibitors. Organizations with a history perspective are encouraged to download and fill out this application and send it via email to Bob Murgitroyd at bobmurg (at) gmail.com before the July 15 deadline.
