Got Deep Hudson County Roots? History Advocates Want to Hear from You
By Jon Whiten • Jul 27th, 2010 • Category: Blog, NewsTo commemorate the 350th anniversary of the founding of Bergen — the area that became Hudson County — Hudson County History Advocates and the Jersey City Free Public Library’s New Jersey Room are looking for the families who’ve been living the longest in each of the county’s 12 municipalities. These families will be recognized at October’s big “Come Home to History” Fair at Hudson County Community College.
If you need assistance in determining the extent of your family’s time in Hudson County, contact the New Jersey Room at 201-547-4503 or the Hudson County Genealogical Society at their website.
You can browse and download the application via the link below.
