TODAY
Muhammad Bilal performs at the final free summer concert at the MLK HUB this evening (5 pm). Later on, Ace Case is at Made with Love for a free, BYOB concert (8 pm).
SATURDAY
Today’s your last chance of the summer to Explore the Estuary at Liberty State Park (10 am) — be sure to call first to make sure spots are available. Saturday’s main event is JCLGO‘s 10th annual Pride Festival, which kicks off at Exchange Place at noon. As part of the Pride festivities, there is also — for the first time — a rally at City Hall at noon, to be followed by a march down Montgomery Street to the festival. After the festival, there are parties at Hard Grove Cafe and Star Bar (for more on those, click here). Elsewhere, Secret Photos plays a free show at the Iron Monkey (11 pm).
SUNDAY
If you’re in the market for a kitten, swing by City Hall for the Kitten Bonanza adoption event sponsored by Liberty Humane Society and Companion Animal Trust (11 am to 4 pm). The Polish Festival brings the pierogies to Paulus Hook (noon to 7 pm). And the Sunday Night Film Forum at Jersey City Art School features a series of short films (7:30 pm).
