Jersey City’s Clair Wholean Tapped for Leadership Role in NJ Architects Group
Jersey City architect Clair Wholean has been installed as regional associate director of the American Institute of Architects’ New Jersey (AIA-NJ) chapter. The Wisconsin native works at NYC architectural firm Kenny & Khan Architects, and she was one of nine AIA-NJ officers installed at last month’s annual gala, held in Princeton.
Wholean is a 2007 graduate of the Cooper Union Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture, where she served on the student and senior councils. She has lived in New Jersey since her graduation and currently resides in Jersey City.
She is an associate member of the New York and New Jersey Chapters of the AIA and became a LEED Green Associate in 2009. Her professional goals include working on LEED projects and taking an active role in business development.
AIA-NJ is the statewide chapter of the national AIA; the chapter was formed in 1900.
