Due to the impending storm coming this way, the Port Authority just announced it will suspend all PATH service beginning at noon on Saturday, August 27.

“Service will resume as soon as conditions permit,” the short announcement reads. “The system is being closed to passengers so that trains and stations can be secured in advance of the storm, and protected against damage from high winds and water.”

The Port Authority’s announcement comes just hours after New York City’s MTA announced it would begin to shut down all subway and bus service tomorrow at noon.

NJ Transit will be stopping all service on the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail and all bus service Saturday at 6 pm. All NJ Transit rail service will be halted at noon.
