Art Exhibit Draws Inspiration From Dreams, Spirituality

Jersey City native Caridad Kennedy’s new exhibit “Paintings of Expression” will be part of JC Fridays, a citywide art festival, on June 1.

Often drawing inspiration from dreams, cultural identity and spirituality, Kennedy explores these subjects through intuition using paint and mixed media.

Kennedy has been featured at numerous local galleries and venues including LITM and Steam Cafe as well as PVS Gallery and Lana Santorelli Gallery in her current city of residence, Hoboken.

“Paintings of Expression” will be on display at Sawadee Thai Restaurant and Gallery Space, 137 Newark Ave., with a reception on June 1 at 6:30 pm. For more information, visit CaridadKennedy.com.
