Video of Heights Mayoral Forum Now Online; Second Mayoral Forum Set for Tomorrow

The first of Jersey City’s mayoral forums has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean the candidates’ answers to questions of city management are lost forever. Indeed, the organizers of the event recorded and uploaded the entire forum, which has been split into three segments. The first segment can be found here. The second here. And finally, the third, here.

With Hudson Media Group’s televised forum set for tomorrow (though absent at least one candidate, with the group barring Abdul Malik from participating), brush up on what was said the first time and see whether candidates’ views have “evolved.”

In fact, it’s possible that candidate Jerry Walker, having canceled a meet-and-greet set for today due to illness, might bow out of tomorrow’s event as well, leaving open the chance that the forum might turn into a debate between front-runners Mayor Jerramiah Healy and Ward E Councilman Steve Fulop.

The forum will be held at 1 pm on April 2, at Landmark Loew’s Theater and will be moderated by Earl Morgan of the Jersey Journal, Al Sullivan of the Hudson Reporter, and Hudson Media Group’s Pat O’Melia.
