LGBT Wedding Expo Returns to Jersey City

The 2nd Annual ‘Same Love, Same Rights’ LGBT Wedding Expo will be held at the Liberty House Restaurant, 76 Audrey Zapp Dr., on Sunday, Jan. 11, from 12:30 to 3:30 pm.

This event will include: ceremony planning tips, music and more than 20 LGBT friendly wedding professionals. Cindy Sproul, one of the founders of the RainbowWeddingNetwork.com (RWN), will address the crowd on the history and importance of marriage equality rights. Music will be provided by DJ Guy Caramucci of Memory Makers Entertainment.

According to Marianne Puechi — RWN’s cofounder (and Sproul’s wife), the LGBT Expos are “boutique events that bring together LGBT clients and wedding professionals.”

All are invited to attend and celebrate equal marriage rights.  For more information or to order tickets, go to RainbowWeddingNetwork.com.

Same-sex marriage has been legally recognized since Oct. 21, 2013, in New Jersey.  Check out photos of the first same-sex weddings that took place last year at Jersey City City Hall when the law became legal.
