Riverview Jazz Monthly Lunchtime Music Series

Riverview Jazz & Mack-Cali Sax Up Harborside

Monthly Series Set to Spark New Interest in Jazz Music

RiverviewJazz.org has partnered with Mack-Cali Realty Corporation to present the Jazz at Harborside Series, a monthly lunchtime performance, which will take place at the Harborside Atrium (147 Harborside Financial Center Platform) from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Occurring one Wednesday a month, this showcase of America’s original musical art form will feature top talent and local legends that have made names for themselves and even made some history in the world of jazz. Acclaimed drummer Jimmy Cobb, who performed on Miles Davis’s “Kind of Blue” and beat rhythms with the likes of Billie Holiday, Dizzie Gillespie, and Nancy Wilson, is just one of the headliners taking part in this jazz series.

“We’re very excited to partner with Mack-Cali on the Jazz at Harborside Series,” says RiverviewJazz.org’s Executive Director Bryan Beninghove. “It’s a fantastic location, and we have some incredible bands featuring legendary artists. Best yet – it’s free to the public!” Ilene Jablonski, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Mack-Cali, wholeheartedly agrees: “The Jazz at Harborside Series is the product of an exciting community partnership formed to bring world-class entertainment to the residents and tenants of Jersey City.”

Upcoming dates include:

February 8 – The International Jazz Quartet, featuring Jimmy Cobb

March 8 – The Jerome Jennings Group

April 12 – The Matt Chertkoff Trio, featuring Houston Person

RiverviewJazz.org is a nonprofit organization committed to making jazz accessible to modern audiences through events, fundraisers, and their annual jazz fest.
