Free Outdoor Concerts in Liberty State Park are Back!

Summerfest concerts will once again be held in Liberty State Park on Tuesday and Sunday evenings. These outdoor concerts are free and run from July though September. From Big Band to Jazz, Pop to R&B, there’s a style of music for everyone to enjoy. The annual music series is presented by the Jersey City Office of Cultural Affairs with the music schedule provided by The Friends of Liberty State Park. Bring a chair, blanket, some snacks or pack a picnic and enjoy the music!

SUMMERFEST 2017:

Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 pm
Located in the Public Gardens behind the Liberty House Restaurant – free parking in the ferry lot.

July 11 – Wilma Ann & the Jazz Disciples (Soul/Jazz)
July 18 – The Dynamics Party Band
July 25 – The Spirit of Life Ensemble (Jazz)

August 1 – No Show this Tuesday due to National Night Out
August 8 – The New York Exceptions (DooWop/Soul)
August 15 – Kareem Walkes (Jazz/Funk/Pop)
August 22 – Lauren Shub (Jazz/Swing)
August 29 Gordon James (Smooth Jazz)

September 5 – The Moonlighters Orchestra (Classic Swing/Big Band)
September 12 – Valerie Adams & The Dimensions Band (R&B/Soul)
September 19 – Michael Tate & 3D Rhythm of Life (Latin/Soul)

Sundays, 5-7 pm
Located on the North Field by the historic CRRNJ Terminal, 1 of Audrey Zapp Drive – free parking lot at the east end of Audrey Zapp Dr.
