Joe Cardwell
Joe Cardwell is a longtime political consultant and a Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority commissioner. He is also the co-founder of the Urban Times News newspaper.
On July 23, 2009, Cardwell was charged by the FBI with agreeing to offer bribe to public official. He allegedly accepted a total of $30,000 to assist a purported developer with making sure that state and local government officials were “on board” with projects the developer wanted to get approved.
