Lori Serrano
Lori Serrano is a former board member and chairwoman of the Jersey City Housing Authority.
On July 23, 2009, she was charged with conspiracy to commit extortion under color of official right by the FBI. Serrano allegedly accepted $10,000 in cash from a purported developer in exchange for political favors if she were elected to the At-Large City Council seat she was seeking as a candidate on Lou Manzo’s ticket.
