Phil Kenny
Phil Kenny served as Ward B councilman from July to October 2009, before being arrested and pleading guilty to federal corruption charges. In federal court on Oct. 6, 2009, Kenny admitted taking $5,000 in bribes in exchange for assisting a purported developer with future projects.
Kenny was previously the office operations coordinator for the Hudson County Board of Chosen Freeholders, Freeholder Bill O’Dea’s chief of staff and he has also worked for the Jersey City Parking Authority.
