Richard Greene
Richard Greene is an aide to 31st District Assemblyman L. Harvey Smith.
On July 23, 2009, Greene was charged by the FBI with conspiracy to commit extortion under color of official right. He allegedly passed a $5,000 payment from a purported developer to Smith as part of the developer’s effort to have Smith approach high-level contacts with state agencies about projects the developer was working on.
