Rolando Lavarro

Rolando Lavarro is a candidate for the Ward A City Council seat on Lou Manzo’s ticket. He has experience with a number of nonprofits, including stints as executive director of the Philippine American Friendship Committee-Community Development Center and coalition director for the Jersey City Communities that Care Coalition.

Lavarro is currently the assistant director for the Office of Grants and Sponsored Programs at New Jersey City University.
