Jersey City’s Free STD Clinic Stays Open & Worker Layoffs are Rescinded as State Agency Questions Closure

Four months after the Healy administration first proposed closing Jersey City’s Preventive Medicine Clinic and outsourcing all of its functions to the private nonprofit Horizon Health Center, the Downtown clinic remains open and the jobs of the 14 health workers slated to be laid off are safe — for now.
