Bloc of Council Members Vow to Block Jersey City Budget Over Library Funding Cuts

As the fallout from the city’s budget problems continues to wreak havoc on the budget of the Jersey City Free Public Library, a large number of residents turned out at Wednesday’s public budget hearing to support the library system, and now four council members are threatening to hold up Jersey City’s 2011 budget unless the administration backs off its plan to cut library funding.
