In an effort to more accurately reflect the nature of music entertainment in restaurants, the city is now redefining the ordinance that restricts musical performance. Determined to finally get it right, officials from Jersey City’s Division of Commerce met with neighborhood associations and business-owners Monday night ahead of an amendment to the Entertainment Ordinance that’s been four years in the making.
