The new school year ushered in a new era for those needing care in the district’s prime facility treating autistic students, which was renamed for the school’s late first principal. The Johnston Avenue site, formerly known as the NJ Regional Day School at Jersey City, is now officially called the Gerard J. Dynes NJ Regional Day School at Jersey City.
